Published flat rates
The price is on the website, before you call. Everything in the first table is bookable now and performed once licensing is complete. Everything in the second is priced so you can plan, but is not work CreekWell takes on today.
Bookable now
Each of these is under $1,000 including labor and materials, which is what keeps it inside the Arizona handyman exemption. No trip fee anywhere in Yavapai County.

Free with any estimate: a hardness, chlorine and total dissolved solids field check, read on the spot. It is a screen for sizing treatment, not a safety test.
Reference pricing — not currently installed
These are honest prices for real systems, published so you can budget and compare quotes. CreekWell is not installing them at the moment: a whole-house installation passes $1,000 once labor and materials are counted, and often needs a permit.
| System | Reference price | What it addresses |
|---|---|---|
| Water softener | from $1,799 | Hardness and scale, whole house. Popular build is 64,000-grain mixed bed at $3,399 |
| Whole-house catalytic carbon filter | $1,885 | Chlorine, chloramine, taste and odor at every tap |
| Salt-free conditioner | $2,750 | Scale control without salt, drain or backwash |
| PFAS removal | $3,450 | Per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances |
| Arsenic removal | $4,750 | Whole-house adsorptive media for wells over the EPA limit |
| Complete well water system | $6,475 | Sediment, iron, hardness and disinfection as one package |
| Whole-home reverse osmosis | $14,999 | Light commercial scale, for large homes on difficult water |
If one of these is genuinely what your house needs, we will tell you so, and tell you it is not work we can do today. See the licensing note.
Rebranding, and adding licenses
Aqua Cat Plumbing & Water Treatment is now CreekWell Plumbing & Water Treatment. Same owner, same phone number.
We are adding Arizona contractor licenses, and we are not booking new work until that is done — a few weeks. Jobs already on the schedule are not affected.
For new work, hold a place in the first round or call or text 928-228-5770. Bookings go in the order they come in, at the prices published on this site. No deposit.
Questions we get asked
Can you come out right now?
Not for new work. We are rebranding and adding Arizona contractor licenses, and we are not booking new jobs for a few weeks. Jobs already on the schedule are not affected.
Leave your name on the list or call or text 928-228-5770. Bookings go in the order they come in, at the prices published on this site, with no deposit.
Is there a trip fee?
No. Not anywhere in Yavapai County, including the rural roads.
Prescott, Prescott Valley, Chino Valley, Paulden, Kirkland, Skull Valley, Sedona, Cottonwood, Camp Verde — same price at all of them.
Why is everything under $1,000?
Because Arizona's handyman exemption caps a single project at less than $1,000 including labor and materials.
That is not a pricing strategy, it is the legal limit an unlicensed person works within. A job also cannot be split into smaller contracts to get under it — the statute addresses that directly.
Do you charge to come out and quote?
No. Estimates and diagnostics are free, and the water field check comes with them.
You get a flat price before any work starts, and it is the price you pay.
Do you offer financing?
Not directly. At these price points most people use a card.
For the larger reference-priced systems, financing is a question for whichever licensed contractor ends up doing the installation.
Not a licensed contractor
Work is performed under the Arizona handyman exemption, A.R.S. § 32-1121(A)(14): any single project is limited to less than $1,000 including labor and materials, and excludes work requiring a building permit and all natural gas and propane work. Neil Staiger has 32 years of Arizona plumbing experience and holds current manufacturer certifications from Moen, Kohler, Navien, Rinnai and Charger Water Treatment Products. More about that. Additional Arizona contractor licenses are in progress.
